I’m a branding and portrait photographer based in Toronto, and I’m incredibly lucky to play a part in documenting my clients’ legacies. These days, that mostly means working with executives and business leaders who are ready to take ownership of their visual identity.

I see myself as a strategic partner in that process, not just the person behind the camera. My branding and headshot clients come to me because they want to be in the driver’s seat of how they’re perceived. My job is to help translate who they are, and where they’re headed, into images that carry real authority.

I also love collaborating with actors exploring their range, creating headshots that catch the eye of agents and casting directors.

Every so often, I take on a small, select number of family sessions – the kind of adventures, great and small, that remind me why storytelling through photography has always been my favourite work.

I’m originally from Cape Town, South Africa, and settled in Toronto in 2005. My journey as a professional photographer spans 15 years and counting, and it’s taken me on more fantastic capers than I ever expected.
